Binoculars Legend

Where can I find the personal light-source, pistols and binoculars on tomb raider legends on psp?

Croft Manor
Grapple Tool: Found on a desk to Zip's left side in the computer lab.
Pistols: Hidden behind a circular vault in Lara's bedroom.
Personal Light Source: In the study, on the desk where Alister is sitting.
Binoculars: In the pool area, pull out the two fish statues and the spear on the right wall.
Use them to get to the higher balcony and retrieve Lara's binoculars.

Bronze Rewards
- To the far right of the main hall sits a bronze reward.
- On the left balcony in the main hall, a protruding stone next to the stair can be shot into the wall to reveal a hidden reward.
- In the far left corner of the pool area, a reward is hidden behind a beach chair.
- Another bronze reward sits on the first reachable ledge in the pool area.
- On the left side of the pool, a reward is hidden behind a fish statue.
- A reward can be found in Lara's pool.
- Another reward can be seen behind the grate in Lara's pool.
- In Lara's room, a bronze reward is behind her bed.
- In the study's second floor room, a reward is sitting in plain sight.
- The same room hides a reward behind a false bookshelf.
- In study's secret passageway, a bronze reward is hidden in a box.
- Five more bronze rewards can be found in Lara's gym.

Silver Rewards
- On the right balcony in the main hall, a stone next to the top of the stairs can be pulled out of the wall to reveal a hidden reward.
- A silver reward is hidden behind the fish statue on the farthest ledge in the pool area.
- A reward sits on the small ledge on the right side of Lara's pool.
- If the Athena statues on the balcony in the pool area are turned towards each other, a silver reward is revealed.
- A reward sits behind the secret passageway in the study.
- To the right of the study's main door, a silver reward is hidden behind some planks.
- Behind a bookcase on the study's first floor is another reward.
- Three silver rewards can be found in Lara's gym.

Gold Reward
- To get the gold reward in Croft Manor, you'll need to collect most of the other rewards first. The first clue to the gold crest's location is in study's secret passageway. You'll find the next clue at the two Athena statues on the balcony in the pool area. This clue will tell you to pull tongues on the stone faces at the end of the balconies in the main hall. Both of them must be pulled in quick succession. When this is done, another statue will rise up in the hall. Point it towards the sunlight and step on the plate to reveal the final reward.

Good product for the price

by ssbergie from on 2010-02-10
Although I've tried better, these are the nicest pair I own. For the clarity verses the price, a good deal. Other components like the lens covers should be updated to the 21st century - like flip-ups. Seller/shipping was good, and arrived on time.

Finally, I found what I'm looking for.

by Robert B. from on 2009-12-10
I had been gathering some facts and reviewing all different brands of binoclar. I was looking for best quaility and best price. I had searching for right binocular for more than a year and half. At first, I love Swarovski binoclars because they were so unbelievable breathing view once you are glassing with them. With that price? It was 15 hundred dollars on that. There was no way I could afford to buy them. So I kept searching around and found what I like was Bushnell Legend Ultra HD 10x42 binocular. That was the best money you buy with that best quaility of binocular. Buy Bushnell Legend Ultra HD binoculars at Amazon Store is highly recommendation. You can compare the price all over the places. You will find an unbeatable price at Amazon Store.

Bushnell Legend Ultra HD 8x42 great but 1 problem

by Kay E. Oring from Susanville,CA on 2010-01-09
These are a great bargain. I own many binoculars, including Swarofskis. I purchased these for their wide angle, light wt. and ED glass. They are superb! However, the first day out, the outer lens caps slid off and I only found one. I called Bushnell; first they said a replacement would be sent; next I received a form letter stating that they could not fulfill my request; I called Customer Service and was told that the company decided not to stock replacement lens caps!!!!!!!! So one needs to put a drop of glue or silicon on the ring to hold it on the binocular when you pop the cap off.

Twist-up Eyecups are only 2 Click Stop

by S. Sahin from on 2010-01-09
Binocular is clear and there are almost no CA. However, Twist-Up eyecups are only 2 click stop and you can not see entire FOV without holding them 2 - 3 mm away from your eyes. It should be at least 3 click stop for comfortable view. I have also a pentax bino and it is very comfortable to hold.Bushnell should resolve eyecup issue because if you don't wear glasses using this binocular is not comfortable.Optic quality is almost perfect but there are a little distortion due to wide field of view. I think it is OK because most 8x42 models have only 340 ft field of view while bushnell Ultra HD have 428 ft FOV.I would give 3 stars to Bushnell Legend Ultra HD.

Eyecups out of alignment

by Don Jeane from South Texas on 2010-01-08
I ordered this item shortly before Chirstmas based on the amazing price offered on Amazon and the mostly favorable reviews elsewhere on the internet. But Bushnell appearantly has some QC problems with this item. The right eyecup extended about 1/16" longer than the left. Plus, the specs on this item lists 17mm of eye relief. The left eyecup extended only 14mm - I had to hold the bins about 1/8" away from my eyes to see the entire field. Otherwise, I would see a noticeable shadow (or kidney bean effect) in the eyepiece. This is without glasses. They may work just fine with glasses. The view with the ED glass is certainly one of the best at this price point. But without a clear view, I returned them for a refund. I read a recent review on the Bushnell Excursions (I think that's the model). They exhibit the same problem. One forum seemed to feel these were esentially the same bin - but with ED glass.

Great binoculars

by Lawrence Jones from San Diego on 2009-07-30
These are my first upscale binoculars, replacing a 35 year old Sears 10x50 ultra wide angle binoculars with broken focus. What an improvement! These are light weight (12 oz less than my old clunker), much brighter, remarkably wide field of view, sharp edge-to-edge, comfortable, well made. The rubbberized grip feels good. This model comes with rubber lens caps that stay with the unit (after you thread the strap through the eyepiece cap) but can be easily removed and stored, two straps (small and large padded) plus a chest harness that clip to pre-mounted 6" hanger straps, a soft bag, a semi-hard case (7 oz) and a small lens cloth.Inter-eyepiece spacing is adjustable 59-75 mm ("PD" for glasses). Minimum focus is about 7' for my old eyes, less with my glasses. The FOV is at least 10% wider than my old pair which claimed 420 ft at 1000 yds."Adapt to tripod" feature means you can buy an adapter ($15) for use with standard tripods. The wide FOV and other specs (light weight, ED glass, etc), and a reasonable price, drew my attention. For general purpose binoculars, I can't imagine a better product. Recommended.

Very good value

by Skoro from Texas on 2010-09-03
These binos represent a best buy in terms of the performance offered for the price. The mechanics and ergonomics are well designed, making it very comfortable to use. Eye relief is very good, an important consideration for eyeglass wearers. The rugged weatherproof construction is a must-have for anyone intending to use these under less than ideal conditions outdoors. Under the night sky, the Legends reveals a lot of detail, as its 50mm objective lenses gather a lot of light. Jupiter's moons stand out nicely. The Pleiades are sparkling jewels. The Orion nebula stand out as more than just a faint smudge. There's some edge distortion, but that has to be expected in this price range. For viewing wildlife, they're outstanding, provided you can get a support to steady your hands. They're kinda bulky for taking to sporting events, but that's not really their intended purpose. Recommended.

Superb Optics!

by Tim from NY on 2010-07-11
I have to say that the Bushnell Legend 10x50 Porro Prism Binoculars are the best I've owned for the value of my money. I've tested roof prisms binoculars that are hundreds of dollars more and this binocular offer excellent low light view, rich depth of field, wide field of view, and bright sharp three-dimensional image. Why is this? Roof binoculars have 6 different prism reflections of light and porro binoculars have 4 different prism reflections of light. This is important because each time light reflects off of one of the surfaces inside the prisms, you are loosing a fraction of light. So the fewer reflections you have, the more light is transmitted through a binocular. As a result Porro prism binoculars like this one remain the best buy for your optical dollar! Highly recommended!

compact and accurate

by Glenn Smooth from Palmdale, CA on 2010-07-14
I bought it for measuring distances to targets at outdoor shooting ranges. It's very accurate and more compact than the online photos suggest. It fits in the palm of your hand.

Nice features & performs very well

by D. Landers from USA on 2010-05-14
I tried a number of target types, reflectivity, etc., and found that it outperformed by brother in law's Leica that often had trouble with certain types of targets. I have been able to range people at 670 yards so far, and rocks out to 1,000 yards (not reflective, but lava rocks). I have done a lot of cross-checking with other target types nearby difficult objects, and the unit appears to be very repeatable and stable. I can also range a 2-inch diameter pipe at 150 yards. Anyone that has used a rangefinder should know that narrow or small targets are notoriously hard to range with any repeatability. The silent operation of the buttons, and the unit while ranging are impressive and important features, as well. Great for bow hunting, rifle, and field training. Take the time to read the manual, and operate the unit for an hour or so until you learn how to use all of the features.I have what appears to be an internal smudge on the optics that looks like a 'floater' in your eye. Otherwise, the optics are adequate for the job it needs to do. Overall I am very satisfied, although I may send back for a replacement due to the 'floater'/smudge or whatever defect it is.

Legens is an apt description...

by Tony L. Ottinger from Tucson, Arizona on 2010-05-06
I have been using a very old Bushnell laser rangefinder for years. You may remember the big binocular style single eyepeice model. Despite its age and years of use, this old Bushnell still gives reliable accurate service. That dependability and longevity weighed significantly on my choice to buy a Bushnell product. As with any major purchase, I tend to do a great deal of research before making a decision. The prime contender was the comparably equipped Leupold model. While the features are roughly equivalent, I had to give the edge to the Bushnell model on a couple of areas.First, the ballistic ranges on the Bushnell seem more useful. More importantly, was the Bushnell's ease of operation. While a user can become proficient with almost any equipment with practice, the Bushnell's operation and menu's are more intuitive. Last but not least is a $100 plus difference in price. The unit arrived in pristine condition and was up and running in minutes. Field testing put the unit through it's various modes with ease. I am struck with the usefull features, clarity of optics and ease of use in such a small package. One great feature is the case with the magnetic closure. With the included lanyard attached the unit is easily and silently withdrawn and put into use, then returned just as quickly.Target aquisition is fast and accurate even at extended ranges and the ARC system is really usefull in the often steep mountainous terrain here in Arizona. The ability to select between the ballistic ranges is a great feature. As I handload for all my calibers it requires some field testing at range to determine the most correct setting for each load, but once this is done accurate ARC ranging is quick and accurate. If this unit provides the same longevity and service as my old one, and based on the apparent quality I expect it will, then the "Legend" name will be well deserved. This may well be the last rangefinder I will ever need.As an aside, I have found this unit to perform well on the golf course, and as a Civil Designer I have used this unit on mine sites to estimate slope angles and lengths.

Finally

by S. Allen from United States on 2010-04-18
Like I said in my title "finally" a range finder that actually does what is advertised. I can olny speak for this model, I have owned a range finder from bushnell before, they said it was a 800yd model, ya right, LOL!!!! I have no idea where they got that perfect environment, I never found it! This one on the other hand has performed in the rain, sun, and overcast days; it hasn't made a differance on trees, rocks, or grassy hillsides. I have had readings of 1254 yards off of man made structures and 1150 yards off of a rock bluff in the rain! The small size is perfect for your average jacket pocket, the 6x is great for pinpointing at long ranges, and the rain guard is a real plus. The size makes purchasing the camo model a joke, you are buying two little patches of camo and when you hold it your covering the camo patches with your hands so you do not see it anyway. Save your money and by the black model, but overall I highly recommend this product; it has exceeded my expectations.

exceptional product

by miss frosty from SALEM, NH, US on 2010-01-11
i ordered this after returning a defective barska pair (the return was fast and very easy to process) after using these a few days i can see a major difference between this pair and any i have owned, the multi coated optics, eye relief (i wear glasses full time) and porro prism rock! i love the feel of these binoculars, the grip is awesome and they feel very comfy in the hand (a few of my friends tried them and love them also) i truly recommend reading up on the basics of binoculars and then checking out the specs on these, they are what they say they are and that is amazing for the price!

Best Small Binoculars

Bushnell Legend: The Better Budget Binocular

by The One-Man Swarm from Aurora, IL on 2007-06-13
As I removed my new optical instrument from its box, I noted the slogan, "How the World Looks." The Bushnell Legend 8x42 porro prism binocular lives up to that billing.Optically, this binocular compares favorably with several competitors that sell for much more. At this specific price point, nothing touches it. With a complement of Bak-4 prisms and fully multi-coated lens surfaces, the Legend's views are crisp, sharp, bright, colorful, and incredibly detailed. Objects do appear slightly blurred toward the far edges of the viewing range, but with a ridiculous 430 foot field-of-view at 1000 yards, the sweet spot is quite massive and leaves very little to be desired. While the Bushnell Legend porro is not as light as more expensive roof prism models, its weight should not be a deterrent for the average consumer. I have worn it around my neck for hours at a time without discomfort. Furthermore, with its ergonomically-pleasing design and comfortable pop-up eye cups, I have also held it to my face for long periods of time without muscular or ocular fatigue. The Legend does not focus as quickly as more responsive (and expensive) binoculars such as the Nikon Monarch. However, very little focus is required when viewing objects at a distance, and with practice, the entire range from close to infinity can be quickly covered by employing a two-finger step technique. Frankly, unless you count yourself among the most discriminating consumers, focus speed (or lack thereof) should not deter you from purchasing this binocular.Eye relief is listed as 15mm, which seems to be accurate. I have lent this binocular to several eyeglass wearers, and with a simple twist of the eye cups, they can see the full field-of-view. I enjoy this option on especially bright days when the sunlight is simply too bright to allow comfortable viewing without sunglasses. Some critiques mention the inexpensive nature of the objective lens covers. As my binocular came without lens covers in the box, I cannot comment on their quality. However, one call to Bushnell resulted in the delivery of some very nice tethered lens covers, which I find to be not just suitable, but really quite wonderful. If the tremendous optical performance isn't enough value at this price point, the Legend 8x42 porro is also waterproof and fogproof. I have used it in the rain and in a kayak, and it is none the worse for wear. The Rainguard does seem to have a beneficial effect, as the binocular remains effective, even during a driving rain.Ultimately, the Bushnell Legend 8x42 porro prism binocular is an excellent entry-level optical instrument. If you are hunting big game in the Savannah or taking a once-in-a-lifetime birding trip to the rainforests of Indonesia, you might consider dropping some extra dough for luxury glass. However, if you are a burgeoning birder, a hometown hiker, or a ho-hum hunter, then you need not look further for virtuoso viewing at a peerless price. If you're like me, you'll find yourself wishing that the world looked this good without them.

I'm very pleased with these binocs--great for bird watching and I like the fact that they're waterproof. Once you've fine-tuned the binocular to your vision very little focusing is required thereafter. Also there is surprising ease of viewing birds in flight.

Like the Legend roof prism models, Rainguard and premium BaK-4 prisms top the list of features to brag about - delivering crisp, clear images in rain, snow and fog. The textured, grippy rubber-armored housing not only stands up to hard use but provides a firm grasp in wet conditions.PRODUCT FEATURES: BaK-4 porro prisms;Fully multi-coated optics allow maximum light transmission for optimum brightness;Heavy-duty, 100% waterproof/fogproof construction;Rainguard water-repellent lens coating;Twist-up eyecups allow quick adjustment for optimum eye relief;Pop-up eyecups on compacts;Large center focus knob for precise focusing - even when wearing gloves;Trim, ergonomic shape for easy, all-day use;Textured, non-glare, non-slip rubber armor absorbs shock;Diopter adjustment for precise and reliable adjustments.

Handy compact with good optics

by Skoro from Texas on 2010-05-07
For daytime outdoor use, these Bushnells are a very good value. They offer a compact, lightweight bino with weatherproofing, making them ideal for hikers, birdwatchers, fishermen, campers, and hunters. The moderate 8x power and relatively wide field of view means they'll work very well at sporting events, too. The lenses are multicoated and the prisms are BAK4 glass, ensuring high light transmission. Image quality is good with very little edge softness and no chromatic aberration. The focus control is firm and positive. The diopter adjustment is very stiff, but I prefer that to loose. The 26mm objective lenses don't have enough light-gathering power to allow clear images at dawn or dusk. They're also inappropriate for astronomy. But for their intended purpose of daytime viewing outdoors or sports events on a lighted field, they're a very good choice.Enthusiastically recommended.

This is an excellent compact binocular. Great field of view. It is what a binocular of this class should be.
